Oil Center church hosts fall, Christmas bazaar

OIL CENTER — Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church hosts its fall and Christmas bazaar Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

The church is located nine miles west of Ada on state Highway 3W.

Oil Center Men’s Fellowship will also be hosting a fish fry in the fellowship hall from 11  a.m. until 1 p.m. There is no charge to eat; however, all donations will go toward remodeling the church activity building. 

The church youth group hosts a breakfast concession stand for the early birds.

Items for sale at the bazaar include Herbalife, purses, Scentsy, jewelry, Thirty-one Bags, RADA cutlery, western wear, Mary Kay, crafts, Tupperware, Grace Adele, Pink Zebr, homemade pies and other baked goods, crochet and  paper crafts, church cookbooks, Pampered Chef, Avon, hair bows, Resident Chef and little girl clothing.

 

Gospel singing set at Byng Assembly of God Church

BYNG — Byng Assembly of God Church hosts a gospel singing at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at the church.

 

Church hosts bazaar to benefit building fund

UNION VALLEY — Union Valley Baptist Church hosts a church bazaar from 7 a.m. until noon Saturday, Nov. 3. A pancake breakfast will be served as well as homemade gifts, baked goods and home-canned goodies sold.

Donations will be accepted. Proceeds go to the building fund. 

Chances on a handmade quilt will be sold for $1 each or six for $5. The drawing takes place Nov. 3. Proceeds benefit Union Valley Baptist Church.

The church is located in Union Valley seven miles east of Ada on state Highway 3.

 

Church conducts Bible study on II Chronicles 7:14

ADA — New Life Apostolic Church serves refreshments and conducts a study of II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Memorial singing slated by Johnson Chapel UMC

ALLEN — Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church hosts a memorial gospel singing at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 for Sue Walton-Brown. She was born June 10, 1950, and died Nov. 9, 2006.

The event is open to the public and all groups and singers. Supper will be served at 4:30 p.m.

Presenting the singing is Al Brown and Company. Master of ceremonies is Al Brown.

The church is located five miles south of Allen on state Highway 48; exit at the church sign and travel three miles east and 1 mile south.

 

Ada Baptist Temple has strong bus ministry

ADA — For its 31-year history, Ada Baptist Temple has been involved in bus ministry.

Each Sunday morning two church buses leave the church and travel the streets and lanes of Ada picking up boys and girls and even moms and dads - bringing them to the services at ABT.

The church also runs a van to pick up teenagers to be part of its growing teen ministry.

Presbyterian church senior youth hosts holiday bazaar

ADA — First Presbyterian Church Senior Youth conduct their annual holiday bazaar Nov. 10 at Westminster Fellowship Hall, 301 E. Kings Road.

The bazaar takes place from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Christmas gift ideas and decorations for all the holidays will be available.
