Former pastor speaks at Free Will Baptist

ADA — Former Ada First Free Will Baptist Church pastor David Sutton will be speaking during the morning worship service Sunday, Dec. 30. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 421 S. Ash in Ada.  


Abba's Tables in Ada needs help

ADA — Abba's Tables Association (ATA) needs help to feed the hungry in Ada.

The organization is open to local churches and people from all walks of life. ATA meets at 7 p.m. each Tuesday at 600 W. Ninth. Volunteers and donations are needed.

Next Generation to be at Stratford church

STRATFORD — John Jacobs and Next Generation Power Force will be at New Beginnings Church, 2360 Highway 19, at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6.

John Jacobs and Next Generation Power Force is a strength team with a message of hope to lift the world. They have been featured on television and around the world.


End-of-year services set at ABT

ADA — The end of the year services at Ada Baptist Temple will be slightly different this weekend.

The Sunday morning schedule will be as follows: Sunday school and Bible studies at 10 a.m.; preaching service at 11 a.m., and no evening service. Monday scheduled is a watch night service from 7 p.m. until midnight.

Church leaders say everyone is invited to attend Ada’s “Distinctively Different” Church.
