Congratulations to Loretta Feiler on being inducted into the Donation Hall of Fame sponsored by Fenwal Inc. The Donation Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to blood donation.

Kudos to Ada High School Competitive Speech and Debate Team on competition at Latta Speech Contest. The Ada team placed second and qualifies for regional competition in March at Rose State College.

William Barrett, M.D., Ada, recently received a three-year appointment as Cancer Liaison Physician for the cancer program at Valley View Regional Hospital.

Ada Adult Learning Center is one of three centers statewide to receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to improve the quality of adult education in rural areas through distance learning technology.

Area cattle producers recently completed requirements to become Master Cattlemen. Local Master Cattlemen include Ed Allen, Don Kampbell, Roy Allen, Aryn Vogt, Wendell Wynn,Mike Black, Julie Luke and Jeff Luke.

Area women became part of Santa’s Soldiers operation and helped make Christmas stockings, filled with candy and gifts, for soldiers.
