STILLWATER, Okla. — Two Stillwater residents were ejected from an SUV during a single-vehicle rollover Tuesday afternoon on Highway 33 just west of Range Road between Perkins and Coyle, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
A two-door Chevrolet Blazer traveling westbound on Highway 33 at an unknown rate of speed drifted off the south shoulder of the road before overcorrecting across both lanes of traffic before rolling and coming to rest on its tires on the north side of the road, according to Trooper Ryan Long.
It wasn’t immediately known if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. on a straight and dry stretch of road.
The two occupants, a man and woman, were transported to OU Medical Center by ambulance with unknown injuries.
Emergency responders from Perkins, Coyle, Guthrie, OHP and LifeNet responded to the scene.
“The accident remains under investigation,” Long said.
