CLAREMORE, Okla. — A Rogers County man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly raped a woman at knife-point.

Claremore Police Department has arrested Julian Watson, 20, on multiple felony charges.

According to CPD, the alleged victim said she was home alone when she heard something in her living room when she “found the suspect inside her home, armed with a knife, face covered with a mask and hands covered with gloves.”

She told CPD investigators that he “tied her hands and feet...then raped her after he cut off her shorts.”

Watson is said to have taken items from the residence when he left.

Watson was reportedly identified in a photo lineup and was later seen by police walking down the street.

“Watson told officers that he broke into the victim’s house by breaking a window while the victim was not home. He said he took more than $50 from the home,” according to investigators. “Watson said he returned to the victim’s house the following morning and re-entered the home through the back door. He said he tapped on the wall to cause the victim to come out of the bedroom where, while wearing a covering over his face, he scared her.”

Investigators said Watson admitted that he held the victim at knife point during portions of the encounter.

“He described the sex as consensual and said he had to talk the victim into having sex with him,” investigators said. “He said that he threatened to kill her if she called the police before he left.”

Watson was booked into Rogers County Jail and is facing felony charges of first-degree rape, second-degree robbery, second-degree burglary and kidnapping.
