A generous gift from World War II veteran and prisoner of war M.L. Becker got the ball rolling on construction of the new terminal project at Enid Woodring Regional Airport.
Thanks to the generosity of a World War II veteran and prisoner of war, plus a little luck, construction is expected to begin next year on a new terminal for Enid Woodring Regional Airport.
ENID, Okla. — Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park will host "A Salute to Their Sacrifice," a presentation on and fundraiser for the M.L. Becker Learning Center, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Public Library of Enid and Garfield County.
We’re eager to see construction of a new terminal at Enid Woodring Regional Airport start next year. This will be the culmination of about $13 million worth of infrastructure, repairs and upgrades that have occurred at the airport over the past several years.
