EDMOND, Okla. — A Guthrie woman was injured in a collision at 9:14 p.m. Friday at Interstate 35 north bound just south of Interstate 40  in Oklahoma City, according to Trooper Chantz Jackson of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The woman, 65, was driving a Silver 2007 Honda VT-1 Motorcycle. Her name has been withheld pending next of kin.

She was transported by EMSA to OU Medical Center in northeast Oklahoma City in serious condition with head, internal/external trunk, and arm injuries, Jackson stated in his report.

The woman was driving northbound on I-35 in the outside lane when she to failed to maneuver the curve, Jackson reported.

“(The motorcycle) went off the roadway to the left and rolled landing on its side,” Jackson stated.

 The Highway Patrol was assisted by Oklahoma City Fire Department and EMSA.

 “This report is based on the trooper’s investigation of the collision.  It may contain the opinion of the trooper,” the report stated.
