Jimmie Nell Chiles

Services for Jimmie Nell Chiles, 82, of Ada are 1 p.m. Thursday at  Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser officiating. Burial follows at Allen Cemetery.

Mrs. Chiles died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Allen to James Houston and Gladys Tripplett Roark.

She attended Allen schools and graduated from Allen High School. Mrs. Chiles was owner and operator of Le Girls Dress Shop in Ada and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.

She married Robert Crable Chiles Jr. Nov. 3, 1948, in Holdenville. He died May 25, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Danny Chiles, Ada; two daughters, Marjorie Thomas and Jan Hudson and her husband Jay, all of Ada; a brother, Phillip Bruce Roark and wife Linda of Allen; a sister, Phyllis Ruth Huckeby of Ada; sister-in-law, Annabelle Roark of Pawhuska; five grandchildren, Heather Luesada and husband Justin, Ada, Jeremy Hudson, Branson, Mo., Jennifer Covington and husband Chris, Ada, Robert James Chiles and wife Summer, Coalgate and Kim Smythe and husband Dave, Enid; three great-grandchildren, Jesse Chiles and wife Brittany, Odessa, Texas,  Zoey Covington, Ada, and Abby Covington, Paoli; one great-great-granddaughter, Isamae Chiles; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, Sharon Sue Chiles; and two brothers, James H. Roark and David G. Roark.

Bearers are her grandsons and nephews, Robert James Chiles, Jeremy Hudson, Justin Luesada, Chris Covington, Hondo Huckeby and Tony Huckeby. Honorary bearers are W.B. Borders, Jim Begin, Wayne King, Daryl Pultz, Elmer Gerth and Morris Chiles.
