Opal Virginia Beebe

Services for Opal Virginia Beebe, 91, of Ada are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Beebe died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at a local nursing home.

She was born June 24, 1921, at Maxwell to William A. and Rhoda Barnett Berry. She attended Maxwell grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.

She married Willie Arvo Bingham on July 4, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Floyd Beebe on June 25, 1976. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1990.

Mrs. Beebe was a bookkeeper for Dillon’s Department Store in Ada until the closing of the store.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Dyer and her husband, Jerry, of Ada, Margaret Reed and her husband, Don, of Tom Bean, Texas, and Rhoda Coakley and her husband, Tim, of Roswell, N.M.; a sister, Ollie Gurley of Pawhuska; her grandchildren, Debbie Tucker and her husband, Randy, Glenn David Dyer, Robert N. Stevens, Roger Reed and Jeannie Goodloe; four great-grandchildren, Cody Ross Tucker, Lynda Carol Victoria, Bru Jack James, Victoria and Charlotte Reneé Goodloe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, two sisters and three brothers.
