Herman Ellis Bills

Services for Herman Ellis Bills, 89, Stonewall, are 2 p.m Friday, June 7, 2013, at Tupelo Church of Christ, with Wendell Ingram officiating. Burial follows at Wilson Cemetery.

Mr. Bills died June 3, 2013, at Ada. He was born April 6, 1924, at Walters, Okla., to John Ed and Nina Ellen Ball Bills.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a rancher and farmer.

He and Bessie Lou Claunch were married Oct. 15, 1948, at Roundup, Mont.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Lou Bills of the home in Stonewall; a son and daughter-in-law, James Randall and Christie Bills, Tupelo; five grandchildren, Justin Ellis Bills and wife Jennifer, Ardmore, Joshua Wayne Bills and wife Sarah, Tupelo, Randa Joy Bills, Ada, Andy John Bills, Noble, Krystal Lynn Bills, Edmond; a stepgrandson, Brian Scott, Duncan; seven great-grandchildren, Shania Nicole Bills and Meaghan Justyne Bills, both of Tupelo, Breann Chester and husband Tyler of Ardmore, Darian Quaid and Judd Quaid, both of Ardmore, Bentley James Bills and Peyton Jarrett Bills, both of Tupelo; two great-great-grandchildren, Rylee Quaid and Byrlaror Chester, both of Ardmore; a brother and sister-in-law, John Ed Bills Jr. and Clara Mae Bills, Lawton; a sister, Betty Baber, Costa Mesa, Calif.; several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was prceded in death by his parents, John ed and Nina Ellen Bills; stwo sons, Ronnie Joe Bills and John Edward Bills; five brothers, Herbert Ed "Hub" Bills, Don Wesley Bills, Doy Bills, Loy Bills and James Marvin Bills; five sisters, Mary Ellen Bills, Elva Bills, Frances Bills, Billie Bills, Frances Bills, Billie Bills and Judy Bills.
