Services for Virginia Lee Stonecipher, 80, Ada, are at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Derek Altom is officiating. Burial follows at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Stonecipher died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at a local nursing home. She was born June 30, 1932, at Ada to Jesse and Myrtle Ruby Fortenberry Newton. She attended area schools.
She married Lucas Stonecipher July 20, 1976, in Lovington, N.M.
Mrs. Stonecipher worked for Hayes School Cafeteria for 11 years. She was a member of Ada First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Luke Stonecipher, of the home; daughter, Kathy Heck and her husband, Kenneth, of Ada; son, Charlie Stonechiper of Ada; and daughters, Paula Kelsey of Bochito, Theresa Stonecipher of Redding, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Trina Ragland, Fort Worth, Texas; four granddaughters, Shauna Rucker, Plano, Texas, Susan Ragland, Fort Worth, Texas, Jennifer Feighner and her husband, Erik, Tulsa, and Heather Ragland, Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons, Kenny Heck, Ada, and Casey Stonecipher, Texas; three great-granddaughters, Tuesdey Rucker, Plano, Texas, Brooke Feighner, Tulsa, and Camryn Feighner, Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Steven Lee Ragland and Rick Ragland; great-grandson, Davin Rucker; and three sisters, Lela Johnson, Patsy Suddock and Estelle DiGovanni.
