Services for Juanita B. Robertson, 98, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery.

Mrs. Robertson died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born March 25, 1914 at Fort Smith, Arkansas to Leslie J. and Bertie Victoria Herriman Cox. She attended Fort Smith, AR schools. She moved to Ada in May 1938 from Fort Smith.

She married Leonard F. Robertson on August 24, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Robertson was a medical technologist in the original Ada Hospital building that later became the Sugg Clinic. Juanita served the patients and doctors at the Sugg Clinic for over 30 years as the medical technologist and where she also managed the Laboratory. She worked from 1938 until retiring in 1980. Mrs. Robertson was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Ada where she taught the senior classes for several years. 

Juanita was a skilled seamstress and loved quilting and making gifts for others as well as sewing for various charitable organizations. 

She moved to Arizona in 2005 where she split her time between Scottsdale and Sedona. She enjoyed bridge, concerts, and theatre and attracted a wide range of friends and admirers. She was gifted with enormous intellect and wit which drew all who knew her closer. She will be missed by her family and the friends she attracted in Oklahoma and Arizona.

Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Linda Littell and her husband Dr. Monte Littell of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandsons, Rick Morrison and his wife DeDee of Ada, and Tom Morrison of Ada; her great grandsons, Max and Jordon Morrison; great granddaughter, Ashley Morrison; and great great grandsons, Gavin and Joey Morrison.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband; a brother, Leslie Cox Jr.; and a son, Leonard F. Robertson, Jr.
