Services for Clyde Douglas “Doug” Coats, 49, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Rev. Michael Russell officiating. Burial follows at Jesse Cemetery.
Mr. Coats died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at a local hospital. He was born May 12, 1963, in Oklahoma City to Clyde C. and Margaret Bray Coats. He lived in this area all his life, attended Ada grade schools and graduated from Byng High School.
Mr. Coats owned and operated Doug’s Automotive and Wrecker Service of Ada and was an ASE Certified Automotive Technician. He was a member of the American Wreckers Association.
Survivors include his significant other, Juanita John of Ada; a cousin, Jackie Hubbard and his wife Pat of Ada, and his children, Jackie Hubbard Jr., LaCretia McDow and Jason Hubbard; and an uncle, Terry Bray of Byng, and his children, Bret Bray and Carl Bray.
Bearers are Jason Hubbard, Jackie Hubbard Jr., Tim Harjo, Lenny Davis, Dusty Miller, Henry West, Bennett John and Thomas Sims. Honorary bearers are Steve Loy, Johnny Walker, Monroe John, Bennie John, Dakota "Shadow" Davis, J.T. "Creek Boy" Davis, B.J. Tsotigh and Jason Hubbard Jr.
