Jesse Ethylene McNeal

Dublin, Texas — Jesse Ethylene McNeal, 91, of Dublin, Texas, died at her residence on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Services took place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, in Harrell Memorial Chapel, with Jimmy Holleman officiating. Burial followed at Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation took place Sunday evening.

Ethylene was born June 9, 1922, in Lula. She was united in marriage to Andrew Jackson "Buck" McNeal Jr. on July 23, 1938, in Allen, and to this union they had three children.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 16, 2009, and her daughter Brenda in 1994.

She had been a member of Red Hat Society, Dublin Garden Club and several other organizations. She was a homemaker and a dairy farmer.

She is survived by her children, Jack McNeal of Scottsdale, Ariz., Glenda Stechnij of Mesa, Ariz., and Rod McNeal of Dublin; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sister and brothers, Joyce Williams of Ada, Jim Brooks of Wilson, Charles Brooks of Wilson, Thomas Brooks of Lakeside, Calif., and Larry Brooks of Coargold, Calif.; and numerous other relatives.
