Kathryn Marie Jackson

Wewoka — Services for Kathryn Marie Jackson, 80, Wewoka, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, April24, 2013, at Blessed Rock Free Will Baptist Church, Sam Ketchell officiating. Burial follows at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at her home in Wewoka. She was born Aug.  28, 1932, in Wewoka to Dave and Ethel Johnson Campbell.

She attended Wewoka High School and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She lived in Wewoka for most of her life and married Tolbert Clifton "T.C." Jackson in 1952. She raised five children of her own, as well as some of her siblings and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson was a seamstress by trade and worked in several of the sewing factories in Wewoka throughout the years. Because of her sewing skills, she made numerous cheer leading suits, band outfits, church costumes, and took on lots of private sewing and ironing jobs for people in the community.

Mrs. Jackson was a Free Will Baptist her whole life. For many years, she was involved with the First Free Will Baptist Church in Wewoka, and the last couple of years attended and was a member of Blessed Rock Free Will Baptist Church of Wewoka.

Survivors include her siblings, Alfred Campbell of Wewoka, Grace Young of Seminole, Freda Brice of Muskogee, Alvis Campbell of Seminole, Jerry Campbell of Norman; one son, David Jackson of Wewoka; three daughters Brenda Summers of Roff, Susan Parks of Wewoka, and Julia Keesee of Holdenville; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David Campbell and Ethel Johnson Campbell; her husband Tolbert Clifton "T.C." Jackson; son, Clifton Wesley Jackson; siblings Rufus Campbell, Lee Campbell, Frank Campbell, Robert Campbell and Barbra Isham.

Bearers are her grandchildren, Sarah Logan Walter, Jonathan Zeb Summers, Dana Davis, Stephanie Pipken, Matthew Summers, Cody Keesee, Jennifer Summers, Rachel Summers, and Tolbert "Tolby" Parks.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Blessed Rock Free Will Baptist Church of Wewoka.
