Graveside service for Carrie Hazel Bennett, 99, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada, is 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.  Officiating is the Rev. Derek Altom.  

Mrs. Bennett died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at an assisted living residence in Oklahoma City. She was born July 10, 1913, in Ada to Johnny Franklin Green and Maud Dew Green.

She married Clyde Cortez Bennett March 21, 1936, in Ada.  

Mrs. Bennett attended Latta Public Schools while growing up and was a lifelong resident of Ada. She worked as a production worker for Evergreen Mills for 20 years and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Ada.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde Wayne and Charlotte Bennett, Oklahoma City; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Bennett; four sisters; and two brothers.
