Wilburn Lee

ATWOOD —  

     Services for Wilburn Floyd Lee, 88, of Atwood are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Bob Hatcher and Lonnie Palmer will officiate. Burial will follow at Non Cemetery.

     Mr. Lee died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at an Allen nursing home.

     He was born July 24, 1924, at Oakman to James Monroe and Bertha Catherine Ragland Lee. He lived most of his life in this area.

     He married Cliffogene Wood on Nov. 12, 1981. 

     Mr. Lee was a farmer and had worked for Todd Construction. He was of the Baptist faith.

     Survivors include his wife, Cliffogene Lee, of the home; three daughters, Sylvia Ann Levingston, Vicksburg, Miss., Vertilla Hammonds and her husband, Robert, Atwood, and Marcilla Bowers and her husband, Chad, Bigsby; two sons, David Levingston and his wife, Sandy, Sulphur, and Kenny Levingston of Stonewall; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence Flynn and husband, Jack, Bethany, and Lottie Keeling, Francis.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Ida Mae Lee, Ida Bell Hodges, Erma Ruth Lee, Bonnie Harrison, and Lela Golden.

     Bearers will be his nephews, Kenny Shaw, David Hodges, Timmy Harrison, Ronnie Shaw, James Shaw and Loyd Golden.
