RODGER MOSIER

ADA — Memorial services for Rodger Dale Mosier, 56, Ada, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home, Ada, the Rev. Dean Stone officiating.

Mr. Mosier died Nov. 13, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1950, at Ada, to William N. Mosier and Lorene Dora Hutchins Mosier.

Mr. Mosier worked as a derrick operator in the oilfield for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Ada.

Mr. Mosier was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorene Mosier; a sister, Dottie Fontenot; and a brother, Jim Mosier.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Loyd Mosier, of the home; two sons, Darryl Mosier, of the home, and Terry Dale Mosier, Ada; a brother, Tony Mosier and wife Dianna, Ada; a sister, Carol Perez and husband Felix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary bearers are Red Doffin, Bobby Sweet, Lynn Sweet and Feliz Perez.

EDMOND — Services for Jerry Don Alton, 60, Edmond, formerly of Ada and Duncan, are 1:30 p.m. today at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan. Burial follows at Duncan Cemetery.

Mr. Alton died Nov. 15, 2006, at Opelika, Ala. He was born Sept. 30, 1946, at Ada, to E.O. and Bernice Bond Alton.

Mr. Alton was employed by Spirit Turf Co. in sales and customer service. He was a member of Duncan First Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Cody Alton, Oklahoma City; and a daughter, Shanda Alton, Phoenix, Ariz.

JACOB (JAKE) KEITH BITTLE

Jacob (Jake) Keith Bittle, a resident of Stratford, was born September 5, 1990, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Debra Rene and Jimmy Keith Bittle. He passed away November 17, 2006, at the age of 16 years 2 months and 12 days. Jake was a Sophomore at Stratford High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad and was active in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He was class president, a member of FFA, 4-H, Science Club, FCA, Student Council and a member of the Academics Team. He was a Christian and member of the Church of Christ in Stratford. He loved living on their farm southwest of Stratford riding horses with PaPa and riding his 4-wheeler through the woods hunting for deer tracks. Jake lived his life in Stratford. He loved his family more than anything and we loved him right back.

Pallbearers will be Austin Black, Ryan Gaines, Dakota Russell, Adam Vanlandingham, Cole Gallup, Dustin Gallup; Honorary pallbearers, Stratford Coaches.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Stratford High School Auditorium, officiated by Bill Jones. Burial will be at McGee Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Keith and Debbie Bittle, Stratford; one sister, Shatona Bittle, Stratford; grandparents, Jimmy and Peggy Helm, Byars, grandparents, Norma and J.L. Rhodes, Ada, grandparents, Jim and Cleta Bittle, Ada; and one great-grandmother, Wilda Morris, Stratford.
