LILLIAN SEALY

PONTOTOC — Services for Lillian Sealy, 85, Pontotoc, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel at Ada, with interment following at the Seeley-Blue Cemetery, Rev. Osborn Roberts officiating. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. at the Smith-Phillips Funeral Home.

Ms. Sealy died April 7, 2006 at Ada. She was born Oct. 8, 1920 at Pontotoc to Jackson and Lula Belle Lewis Levi. She married Milton James Sealy on Dec. 25, 1947.

Ms. Sealy lived in the Pontotoc area all of her life. She attended the Pontotoc Schools as a child and was a member of the Pennington Methodist Church. She was an active member in the Methodist Women's Society and the senior citizens activities. She was also a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Melvin Sealy; one daughter, Juanita Thomas; one brother, Andruss Hamilton; two sisters, Flora Reed and Nora Beth Greenwood; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Edison Sealy, Ada; four daughters, Nadine Lewis, Ardmore, Suzanne Russell and husband Charles, Ada, Shirley McElroy and husband James, Austin, Texas, Frances Kay Solomon, Sulphur; one brother, Able Levi, Pontotoc; and 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Bearers will be Jimmy Lewis, Kenneth Lewis Jr., James McElroy Jr., Billy Russell, David Lewis and Dustin H. Lewis.

Honorary Bearers will be James McElroy, Wilson Dale Parker, Marvin Lee Sealy, Jimmy Lewis Jr., Billy James Lee, Robert Russell Lee and Charley Russell.

ODIS COLE

ADA — Services for Odis Ray Cole, 66, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Steve Wilburn and Shawn Priddy officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosedale Cemetery, with the Chickasaw Honor Guard providing military honors.

Mr. Cole died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Ada. He was born Aug. 11, 1939 at Roff to Roy and Rena Austin Cole.

He graduated from Roff High School in 1957 and was the manager of the Wills Ready Mix Concrete Co. for many years where he would later retire. Mr. Cole also served in the U.S. Army, and was a rancher and Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Mattie Lois Ross.

Survivors include his mother, Rena Cole, Ada; one brother, Raymond and his wife, Marilyn, Fitzhugh; two sisters, Lena and Geneva, both of Ada; and two nieces, Erin and Deborah Cole.

Pallbearers will be the Chickasaw Honor Guard.

ADA — Services for the Rev. John W. Burrows, 74, Ada, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home. Rev. Burrows died Monday, April 10, 2006 at a local hospital.

ALLEN — Services for Shirley Brand, 56, Allen, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home. Mrs. Brand died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at a local hospital.

SHAWNEE — Services for Norman Greenwood, 65, Shawnee, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home. Mr. Greenwood died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at an Oklahoma City hospital.
