Funeral services for Maxine Allgood Sharber, 83, Konawa, are 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013,  at Vamoosa Baptist Church with George Marty Brook officiating. Burial follows at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Mrs. Sharber died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at her residence in Konawa. She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Hazel, Okla.,  to John Allgood and Ruby (Mathis) Allgood.

She married Jack Sharber March 17, 1945, in Seminole. To this union, three children were born.  Mrs. Sharber was member of the Vamoosa Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three children, John Sharber and wife, Claudia of Konawa, Susie and Albert Nunley of Checotah, and Billy Jack Sharber of Konawa; grandchildren, Sheri Porter, Michael Nunley, Jason Nunley, Candice Sharber Waldroup, Misty Sharber Granger, Tie Sharber Redeker, and Bo Sharber; 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sharber was preceded in death by her parents, John Allgood and Ruby Mann; her husband, Jack Sharber on March 17, 1987, and her great-granddaughter, Sheena Booth on Oct. 4, 2006.

Bearers are Bo Sharber, Kirk Redeker, Eric Granger, Anthony Waldroup, Jason Nunley, Zachary Waldroup, and Jackson Granger.  Honorary Pallbearers are Dan Khoury, Elmo Phillips, and C. L. Bounds.

STRATFORD — Services for Hester E. Wise, 89, are 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7,2 013, at Free Will Baptist Church, Stratford. Burial follows at Resthaven Cemetery, Shawnee.

ADA — A graveside service for Imogene Frye, 89, Ada, formerly of Sherman, Texas, were held Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ethel Cemetery.

Albert Gregg officiated and her grandsons Byron Frye, Cody Frye, Matt Frye, Alexander Frye and Sam Gregg served as bearers.

Mrs. Frye died Sept. 23, 2013, at Ada. She was born July 27, 1924, at Pottsboro, Texas, to Alfred and Ila Bateman Ray Sr.

She married Charles Frye Aug. 2, 1942. He died April 16, 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Gregg and husband Albert, Temple, Texas; sons Jerry Frye, Temple, Texas, and Dennis Frye and wife Linda of Ada; grandchildren Byron Frye and wife Gena, Cody Frye and wife Tiffany, Matt Frye and wife Sarah, all of Ada, Kelly Frye of Bedford, Texas, Alexander Frye of El Paso, Texas, and Sam Gregg of Temple, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jag Frye, Jet Frye, Cade Frye, Case Frye, Kira Frye, Syndey frye and Christopher Gregg;  and sister Lois Price Null.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, one sister and grandson Huey Gregg.

Services for Rufus D. Wright Sr., 64, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Wynnewood. Burial follows at Oak Grove Cemetery near Wynnewood.

Mr. Wright died Oct. 2, 2013.
