Ada — Pamela Jeanine Dorsey died Sept. 22, 2013, at her home in Ada at the age of 61 years.
Pamela was born Dec. 10, 1951, to her parents, Lloyd Q. and Dortha Dukes, in Talihina.
Pamela grew up in the Whitesboro area before moving to Ada in August of 1984 due to employment opportunities. She was employed with Carl Albert Indian Health Facility as an RN.
Pamela was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
Pamela’s memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends she leaves behind which include one son, Harley and wife, Mechelle Johnson, of Whitesboro; one daughter, Echo and husband, Eric Constable, of Ada; two grandchildren, Katey Johnson and Wesley Constable; and one great-grandchild, Maddox Winlock.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sabra Dorsey; and one brother, Lloyd J. Dukes.
Pallbearers serving with honor include Lloyd W. Dukes, Kevin Mings, Mickey Adams, Doug Morgan, Scotty Luce and Matthew Spears.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Union Hill Baptist Church, with Brother James Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at Center Cemetery, Center.
Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. today at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada.
