JoAnn Wood-Chandler

Services for JoAnn Wood-Chandler, 81, of Stratford are 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Shawn Wiebers officiating. Burial follows at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Chandler died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013,  at a local nursing home. She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Topeka, Kan., to George Endinger, Sr. and Bernice Snyder Endinger.

She attended school in Arkansas and later beauty school.

She married Frank Granison Wood Jr. on Oct. 20, 1980, in Poteau. He died Dec. 17, 1993. She married John Chandler Aug. 5, 1996. He died Sept. 4, 2006. 

Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and had also worked as a home health care provider. She was a member of Stratford First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, George Endinger Jr. of Ada, James C. Endinger of Jacksonville, Fla., and Harry Joseph Endinger of Montgomery, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ella Mae Epperson; and a brother, Duane Endinger.

Bearers are Zaccary Endinger, George Endinger III, Michael Brown, Louis Patterson, Curtis Mast and John Mann.
