Ada —

Marie Fike Golden left her earthly home 12/31/12. She left behind daughters Carol Franklin, Debra Bostick and husband, Blake; sister, Nadine Owens; nieces Judy Chote and husband, Loren, Shawnda Russell, Ashley Muck and husband, Josh all of Ada. Survivors also include 5 grandchildren, Lawanna Kidd, Angela Logan, Tim Babbit, Kevin Dunn and Leah Baird. 11 great-grandchildren, Jay McGuffee Jeff McGuffee, Jessica Brinton, Jake McMahon, Ayla McMahon, Heather Babbit, Hilary Babbit, Hannah Babbit, Karsen Baird, Brooklin Baird and Madison Baird. 3 great-great-grandchildren, Holly McGuffee, Cade McGuffee and Gavinn Brinton. Cade and Gavinn were born during the last years of her life, and thoughts of them would often put a smile on her face. She was preceeded in death by many friends and family members during her 87 years of life. Her home was always open to anyone in need; the doors opened for many through the years, family and friends alike.

Friends and family will have a celebration of her life on her birthday, 4/28/13, and will be available for visitors at Calvery Penecostal Church gym from 1 p.m. through 2 p.m., after which her cremains and a headstone will be placed next to her mother’s at Center Cemetery.

Family requests no flowers but would prefer a donation be given to the charity of your choice.

Carol, Nadean, and Debbie would like to express a special thanks to Pastor Mike Russell and their church family at Calvery Church for their love and support during our time of grief.

Our thanks go out to Healthback Home Health staff, especially Kay Stone, whose visits Mom looked forward to every week.
