Kalyn Scott-Lang

     Services for Kalyn Ryan “Bro Man” Scott-Lang, 6, of Stonewall took place March 27 at Tushka Gymnasium, Tushka. Officiating were Gary Weeden and the Rev. Tom Hargrave. 

     Burial followed at Bentley Indian Cemetery, Harmony.

     Kalyn died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Tushka.

     He was born Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, to Daniel Eugene and Natasha Lynn Scott Lang at Ada.

     He attended kindergarten at Stonewall Elementary. He was of the Baptist faith. Kalyn enjoyed bull riding, riding four-wheelers, chasing armadillos, fishing and fighting alligators and watching superheroes.

     Survivors include his mother, Natasha Scott-Ross and husband, Carl, of Fittstown; father, Daniel Lang, Atoka; sisters, Katherine Grace and Danni Lynn, Fittstown, Alexia Marie Baker, Idabel, Ashlee Faith Ross, Fittstown; grandparents, Marsha Scott, Atoka, Eugene Lang, Atoka, Tony and Myra Soto, Lewisville, Texas; great-grandparents, Bill and Wanda Urabazo, Lawton, and Susan Jim, Atoka; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Lang; grandfather, William Scotty Scott; cousin, Blake Lang; great-grandmother, Sina Lewis; and great-grandfather, Emmitt Jim.

     Bearers were David Perry, Lloyd Perry, Brandon Scott and Kaylie Shields. Honorary bearers were A.J. Quintero, Dalton Anderson, Daniel Licea, Shane Scott, Lance Willeby, Sean Burns, Jayden Perry and Jaystin Perry.
