Sidney Harold Isbill

Services for Sidney Harold Isbill, 69, Wayne, were 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel, Purcell. Burial followed at Paoli Cemetery.

Mr. Isbill died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Oklahoma City.  He was born Sept. 4, 1943, at Pauls Valley. He was the third child of four children born to Fred Isbill and Ruby Perry Isbill. Mr. Isbill was raised at Paoli and attended Paoli schools, graduating in 1961.

One year later he married Joy Griffith and from this union, two daughters, Tina Gail and Gina Renae were born. In 1975, he married RaeLean Ewing and together they had a son, Jody Wayne.

Mr. Isbill drove a truck for several years, before taking a job with General Motors in 1979. He retired in 2005 after more than 26 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruby Isbill; a son, Jody Isbill; grandson, Christopher Wayne Patton; a brother, Mack Isbill and  mother-in-law, Maureen Ewing.

Survivors include his wife, RaeLean Isbill of the home; two daughters Tina Essary and husband Todd of Ada, Gina Carter and husband J.L. of Ada; a sister, Mary Ann Isbill of Wayne; a brother, Jerry Isbill and wife Mary of Goldsby; six grandsons, Shane and Chase West,  Jordan and Tyler Carter, Seth Berry and Taron Isbill; a granddaughter, MacKenzi Carter; three sister-in-laws, Pat Isbill of Jonesboro, Ark., Joyce Mooi of Wayne, Wanda Newkirk and husband Kenneth of Little Axe; father-in-law, Doug Ewing and wife Claudene of Wayne; many of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
