Ada — KATHRYN JANSSEN

ADA —Kathryn Louise Janssen, 81, died May 2, 2013. She was born Dec. 7, 1931, to Rex and Thelma Travis in Allen, Okla. Services were Saturday at Yukon.

She graduated from Foster Hill High School.

She married Charles R. Janssen in 1950 in Oklahoma City, and together they had four children. They moved to Ada in 1969, where she opened and ran Lillian’s Fabric and Bridal for several years before becoming a Realtor.

Mrs. Janssen is preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Lee.

Survived by her brothers Floyd and Rex Travis, and her son, Charlie Janssen and his wife, Diana; son Bill Janssen and his wife, Norma; daughter Suanne Collins and her husband, Major; and son Robert Janssen; and six grandchildren and their spouses.
