Nettie Mae Reed

Noble — Services for Nettie Mae Reed, 72, are held today at 2 p.m. at McMahans Funeral Home in Noble. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Noble. 

Ms. Reed died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home. She was born June 5, 1941, in Lexington to Robert and Goldie (Townley) Bugher. She married Douglas Reed April 5, 1963. She lived in Ada many years and raised their children there before moving to Slaughterville.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Doug Reed of the home; son, Michael and wife Tracy of Edmond; daughters Teresa Dew and husband David of Ada, Diana Turner and husband Robert of Ada; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Judy Bugher, of Slaughterville, Kay Mattingly and husband Jack of Seminole, and Roberta Slate of Casper, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Goldie (Townley) Bugher and daughter, Terri Lynne Love.
