Gary Eager

Roff —

Services for Gary Dale Eager, 67, of Roff, are 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Derek Bolin will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.

Mr. Eager died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at an Ada hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1946, at Modesto, Calif., to John Boyd and Dorothy Faye Braddock Eager. He attended Roff grade school and graduated from Roff High School in 1965.

He married Linda Sue Escue May 5, 1972. Mr. Eager was a security officer at Mercy Hospital-Ada for 27 years until his retirement. He was a rancher and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Eager, of the home; a son, Johnathan Eager and his wife Ginger of Roff; a daughter, Kari Mariott and her husband Keith of Roff; his mother, Dorothy Eager of Roff; two sisters, Judy Yoesting and her husband Dwayne of Ada, and Carolyn Phillips and her husband David of Allen; a brother, Larry Eager and wife Sherry of Roff; and three grandchildren, Shaylee Eager, Shania Moore and Sarah Mariott.

He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd “Preacher” Eager.

Bearers will be Mark Isenberg, Paul Mariott, Chase Eager, Clayton Eager and Josh Mariott.
