Graveside services for Jo Ann “Annie” McCarty, 78, of Ada are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City. The Rev. Daniel Lovin will officiate.

Mrs. McCarty died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at a local nursing home.

She was born Aug. 26, 1935, at Talihina to William “Bill” and Geraldine Cole Lovin. She attended school at Buffalo Valley.

She married Dalton McCarty. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1977.

Mrs. McCarty was a billing clerk for J. H. Rose Truck Lines in Oklahoma City until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four brothers, Melvin Lovin of New Mexico, Bill Lovin and wife, Marie, of Roff, Ted Lovin and wife, Joy, of Kingston, and Tim Lovin of Oklahoma City; five sisters, Mary Guinn and husband, George, of Allen, Carolyn Birth and husband, Joe, of Kingston, Helen Waller of Checotah, Jerry Lovin of Ada and Virginia “Ginger” Stephens and husband, Bill, of Blanchard; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Glen Lovin; and two sisters, Jane and Norma.
