Colton Dean Parnell

Roff —

Services for Colton Dean Parnell, 12, Roff are 10 a.m. Saturday at Roff School Gymnasium, the Rev. Tony Folger officiating. Burial follows at East Hill Cemetery in Roff. The family is receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Colton died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, near Waurika, Okla. He was born July 2, 2000, at Weatherford, Texas, to Kenny Leon Parnell III and Renee Dinwiddie Parnell. Colton was a student at Roff Junior High School and attended Roff First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Kenny and Renee Parnell, of the home; a sister, Mackenzie Parnell, of the home; a brother, Austin Parnell, of the home; his paternal grandmother, Deanna Parnell of Grandbury, Texas; his maternal grandfather, Mark Dinwiddie and his wife Sue of Crawley, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Becky Dinwiddie of Artesia, N.M.; his aunts, Heather Tanner, Sherry Tanner, Mitsy Dunnigan, Shane Kinsworthy, Melissa Herrera, and Pamela Chaplin.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Kenneth Leon Parnell II; grandmother, Debbie Tanner; and an uncle, Wayne Dinwiddie.

Bearers are Justin Franklin, Josh Jones, Dylan Grinsted, Dakota Grinsted, Josh Grinsted and Josiah Duck.

The Roff Fire Department has scheduled a benefit for the Parnell Family on June 22 from 4-11 p.m. at Roff Park; or those who would like to make a memorial may mail it to Roff First Baptist Church, in memory of Colton Parnell, P. O. Box 235, Roff, OK 74865.
