KELLER, Texas — Memorial services for Gerald Edwin “Jerry” Hosner, 88, of Keller, Texas, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013,  at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas. Burial will follow at Garwood, Texas.

Mr. Hosner died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at his home. He was born July 13, 1925,  in Telluride, Colo., to Avery and Gertrude Harrington Hosner.

After graduating from high school, he worked for Continental Airlines until his retirement. Later, he was employed with “Your Man Tours.”

He married Virginia Tobias Feb. 5, 1948. She died July 12, 1998. He married Kathryn Jones  Aug. 20, 2000.

Mr. Hosner was a member of St. Elizabeth An Seton Catholic Church in Keller, and formerly a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ada.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Hosner, of the home; a son, Greg Hosner and wife Carla of Deer Park, Wash.; a daughter, Debbie Pogue and husband Marcus of Ada, Okla.; his grandchildren, Desiree and Darin Baumann of Spokane, Wash., and Tyler and Kacie Pogue of Hugo, Okla.; his great grandchildren, Judah, Ezra and Azriela Baumann and Stran and Cross Pogue; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Hosner, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Madeline Priesmeyer of El Campo, Texas; six nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia Hosner; and a brother, Don Hosner; and a sister, Ruth.

Lucas Funeral Home, Keller, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
