Ada — Kathlyn Lewis

ADA — Services for Kathlyn Gail Lewis, 7 weeks, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home.

Kathlyn died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Sulphur.

Susan Repass

NORMAN — Services for Mary Susan Repass, 67, of Norman and formerly of Ada, are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1717 W. Lindsey in Norman. The Rev. James Ehrlich will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.

Ms. Repass died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at an Oklahoma City hospice.

She was born May 15, 1946, in Ada to Loyd Ross and Helen O. Grant Repass.

She attended Horace Mann grade school and graduated from Ada High School. She attended East Central University.

Ms. Repass was employed with the Department of Human Services as a secretary of records, retiring after many years of service.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Norman.

Survivors include a brother, John Repass and his wife, Sally, of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lou Ellen Repass.

John Cannady

DECATUR, Texas — Services for John Jasper Cannady, 61, of Decatur, Texas, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate.  Burial will follow at Citra Cemetery near Allen.  

Mr. Cannady died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in Mt. Vernon, Mo.

He was born April 9, 1952, in Long Beach, Calif., to Lloyd John and Murl Lee Royer Cannady.

He graduated from Allen and attended the Okmulgee Technology Center.  

Mr. Cannady was self-employed. He was of the Baptist faith

Survivors include three daughters, April Cannady-Hunter of Allen, Celestial Cannady-Sweet of Ada and Alexandra Cannady of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, John C.E. Cannady of Byng; four sisters, Brenda Branscum of Ada, Gwenda Harden of Ada, Terry Littlefied of Byng and Tawni Sanders of Byng; two brothers, Ed Cannady of Idaho and Mark Cannady of Bartlesville; six grandchildren, Cassara Harris, Savannah Harris, Dawson Harris, Jordyn Borges, Sheyenne Sweet and Samuel Sweet; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Luttrell, and a niece, Jennifer Campbell.

Bearers are John C.E. Cannady, Rusty Youngblood, Johnny Harris, Eric Atkinson, Sam Sweet and Dawson Harris. Honorary bearers are Conjot Harjo and Johnny Fritz.

ADA — Services for Arvil Blankenship, 88, of Ada are pending with Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Blankenship died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Ada.
