Memorial services for Earl E. “Butch” Van Winkle Jr., 50, of Ada, are at 2 p.m. Monday at Ada Baptist Temple, with the Rev. Robert Eberle officiating. 

Mr. Van Winkle died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1963, at Sulphur to Earl E. and Gloria J. Van Horn Van Winkle. He attended Sulphur schools.

He married Terry Robertson on May 18, 1994. 

Mr. Van Winkle was a paint and auto-body repairman until his retirement and had served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Van Winkle, of the home; two stepchildren, Rachel Keene and Josh Keene, both of Ada; his mother-in-law, Carrie White, Ada; a sister-in-law, Michelle Capps, Ada; two nephews, Steven Capps and Casey Capps; one niece, Starla Capps; and six great-nieces.
