Graveside services for Richard “Dick” Washington, 86, Marble Falls, are 4 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Connerville Cemetery, Connerville, Okla., with Larry Hawkins officiating.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls.

Mr. Washington died Monday, June 25, 2012. He was born July 16, 1925, in Lubbock to Fred and Josephine Washington.

He was a member of Pontotoc Masonic Lodge 136.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Washington,  Marble Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Richard G. Washington and Eileen of Marble Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Williams and Lee of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Joanie Grissom and husband Randy, John Day and wife Joey, Keagan Washington and Chris Shelby; great-grandchildren, Heather Shelton, Dakota Dobbs, Garrett Dobbs, Mason Grissom, Jon Kurtis Day, Jericho Day Cornelson and husband Seth, Brittney Day, Holley Shelby and Hailey Shelby and two great-great grandchildren, Emmy and Braylon Cornelson.

Mr. Washington was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Donnie Marie Washington in 2000, brother Charles , two sisters, Margaret and Cotton, mother-in-law Birma Jones and brother-in-law Millard Jones.
