Jessie Sue Van Dusen

Fort Smith, Ark — Services for Jessie Sue Van Dusen, 77, Fort Smith, Ark., will be 10 a.m. Monday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. John Treude and the Rev. Bobby Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.

Ms. Van Dusen died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. She was born Dec. 31, 1936 in Ada to Horace and Pearl Scott. She retired from Whirlpool where she was employed as an assembly line worker. Ms. Van Dusen was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three daughters Sharmon Hayes and husband Mike of Muskogee, Janet Fitch and husband Wayne of Fort Smith, Ark., and Jennifer Lamproe of Fort Smith, Ark.; son Tony Price of Fort Smith, Ark.; brother L. D. Scott of Lebanon, Okla.; seven grandchildren Keith and Kevin Fitch, Tyler Price, Brett and Scott Hayes, Chase Lamproe and Natasha Price; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Norma Alexander and a brother Lewis Scott.

Bearers will be Keith and Kevin Fitch, Tyler Price, Brett and Scott Hayes and Ronny Alexander.

Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2100 Cavanaugh Road, Fort Smith, AR 72908.
