BYNG — Funeral services for Mayme L. Isaacs, 97, Byng, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church in Oil Center. Burial is at Maxwell Cemetery west of Ada.  Officiating  is the Rev. Earl Hood, assisted by Jerry Meek.

Mrs. Isaacs died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at her home.  She was born July 2, 1915, at Maxwell to John McIntyre and Jocie  Bolin McIntyre.

She married Grant Isaacs on April 15, 1934, at Oil Center.  Mr. Isaacs died Aug. 5, 1976.

Mrs. Isaacs attended Summers Chapel Schools in the community of Summers Chapel, Okla., while growing up. She was a homemaker and was affiliated with Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include six grandchildren, Nelda Hester and her husband Danny of Ardmore, Frankie Ingram and his wife Rita of Ardmore, Donna Fowler and her husband Wendell of Sulphur, Derral Isaacs and his wife Barbara of Ada, Keith Isaacs and his wife Becky of Ada, and Phyllis Herron and her husband W.C. of Shawnee; one step-grandchild, Larry Perry of Ada; 13 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren; two nieces, Ruby Lee and her husband Terry of Ada, and Helen Powers and her husband Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two daughters-in-law, Joyce Isaacs and Lyzene Isaacs, both of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Isaacs; one son, Gerald Isaacs; one daughter, Wanda Ingram; three stepsons, Joe Isaacs, J.D. Isaacs, and James Isaacs; her parents, John and Jocie Bolin McIntyre; two sisters, Pearl Bittle and Alpha Hampton; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Isaacs; one brother, John McIntyre Jr.; and one niece, Naomi Guzman.

Bearers are Danny Hester, Phillip Wood, Billy Wood, Terry Lee, Jay Burrows and Danny Dickerson.
