Doris Flynn

Stonewall —  

Doris Flynn of Stonewall passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at her residence in Stonewall at the age of 87. 

She was born Oct. 26, 1925 in Philadelphia to William Phillips and Anna Weber Phillips. 

Mrs. Flynn graduated from high school in Philadelphia and later married Donald Flynn in Maryland.  She worked as a mail handler for many years, was of the Methodist faith and moved to Stonewall 13 years ago.

Mrs. Flynn is survived by three daughters, Deborah Irwin and her husband, William, of Pennsylvania, Doris Ott and her husband, Ronald, of Surfside Beach, S.C., and Sharon Flynn and Joe C. Schutte III of Stonewall; one brother, William Phillips of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Flynn; one daughter, Patricia Flynn; parents, William and Anna Phillips; and two sisters, Ellen Delmarmol and Mary Web.

The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date in Surfside Beach, S.C.
