Ray Ardrey

Ada — Services for Ray Ardrey, 53, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Ardrey died Saturday, August 3, 2013, at his home. He was born August 21, 1959, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Paul and Edna Pearl Garrison Ardrey. He attended grade school in Ada and Madill and high school in Ada. He also attended East Central University.

He married Linda G. Henson in 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Ardrey was a forklift operator and retired after 20 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Army for 14 years, being discharged as a sergeant.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ardrey, of the home; four sons, Jake Ardrey, Ada, Buddy Ray Tarr, Ada, Ronnie Dale Tarr, Jr., Seminole, and Casey Capps and wife Krystal, Ada; a daughter, Shena Watson and husband Bird, Maud; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Vonda Kay Ardrey, Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers will be Jake Ardrey, Buddy Tarr, Ronnie Tarr, Jr., Bird Watson, Casey Capps, and Tony Sojo.
