Ada — ROGER VILES

ADA — A celebration for the life of Roger Dewayne Viles, 48, of Ada, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening Sept. 16, 2013,  at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert.

Mr. Viles died Thursday morning Sept. 12, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Ada. He was born July 11, 1965, in Durant to Roger David and Jo Ellen Watterson Viles.

He attended Durant schools and was a Colbert resident for most of his life. He lived in Ada the past three years He was a supervisor for Capp Stone Industries in Ada.

He married Lisa Haile Sept. 8, 2003, in Sherman, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Viles; and grandparents, Cleo and Margaret Watterson and Floy and Alma Viles.

Surviving include his wife, Lisa Viles, of the home in Ada; mother, Jo Ellen West and husband David of Colbert; father-in-law, James Haile of Ada; children, Chasity Viles, Cody Syler and Ashley Harden, all of Ada, and Sonny Mathis, Durant; one granddaughter, Abigail Haile, Ada; three brothers, Deno Viles, Skip McDonald both of Denison, Texas and Matthew Viles of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister,  Laura Viles of Knoxville, Tenn.; and a stepbrother, David West of Decatur, Texas.
