Lenora Morgan

Roff —

Services for Lenora Belle Morgan, 85, of Roff, are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Roff First Baptist Church. The Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery near Roff.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Morgan died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at a Sulphur nursing home. 

She was born Jan. 8, 1928, in Coal County to Elmer Walter and Edna Opal Dalton Morgan. She graduated from Roff High School, where she was the valedictorian.

Ms. Morgan was a secretary for several Ford dealerships and later retired as a telephone operator with Chickasaw Telephone in Sulphur. She was also a rancher and a member of the Roff First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one brother, Junior Morgan of Clinton, Ark.,; nephews and nieces, Jim Morgan and wife, Pat, of Roff, Linda Kay Clinton and husband, Phillip, Guthrie, Becky Perrin, Norman, Jaye Torres and husband, J.R., Jackson, Tenn., Jenny Cupples, Memphis, Tenn., Matt Morgan, Brian Morgan and Michael Morgan, all of Denton, Texas, and Ericka Sutton, Sherman, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tony Morgan.

Bearers will be her nephews.
