Gwindle Dale Miller

Services for Gwindle Dale Miller, 78, Stratford, are 1 p.m. Tuesday June 11, 2013 at Free Will Baptist Church, Stratford, officiated by the Rev. Lewis Perry. Burial follows at McGee Cemetery, Stratford.

Mr. Miller died June 7, 2013, at his home in Stratford. He was born Aug. 30, 1934, in Lula to Simon and Mable Gray Miller.

He married to Roberta Bain in Allen Oct. 24, 1961.

He owned and operated Miller’s Water Well drilling business. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam era. He has lived in the Stratford area since 1965. He was a member of the Legacy Church in Ada and Stratford American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers are his grandchildren, Cheyanne Miller, Lane Miller, Logan Miller, Garrett Story, Camryn Miller, Canaan Miller, Aamina Miller and Trent Story.

Survived by his wife, Roberta Miller, of the home in Stratford; two sons and  daughters-in-law, Robert and Kimberly Miller, Clarita; Scott and Rachel Miller, Stratford; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Randy Story, Bethel; two sisters, Wanda Miller, Pauls Valley; Sharon Copeland, Sanger, Texas; eight grandchildren, Cheyanne Miller, Lane Miller, Logan Miller, Garrett Story, Camryn Miller, Canaan Miller, Aamina Miller, Trent Story, and one great-grandchild, Rowdy Story
