Eric Jerome Sutton

Ada — Memorial services for Eric Jerome Sutton, 46, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Community Free Will Baptist Church at Pickett.

Mr. Sutton died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at a local hospital.

He was born June 8, 1967, at Oklahoma City to Paul Eugene and Rachel Irene Gilstrap Sutton. He graduated from Latta High School.

Mr. Sutton was a parks manager for KOA campground.

Survivors include a daughter, Erica Sutton of Hobart; his mother, Rachel Sutton, of the home; a sister, Aimee Ligon and her husband, Curtis, of Wolf; his nephews, Dakota Dooley Atwood and Cody Ligon, both of Wolf; his nieces, Julia Atwood of Ada and Kaitlyn Atwood of Texas; his great-nieces, Braewyn Atwood, Ada, and Krislyn Carlson, Ada; his grandmother, Mary Elkins of Tahlequah; his aunts and uncles, Charles and Ruth Sutton and Donis McDonald, all of Ada, Tom and Gail Teague of Tahlequah, David and Kathleen Sutton of McKinney, Texas, Delton and Lahonda Sutton of Ada, Jerry and Margaret Hood of Keys, Tommy and Sherlyn Phillips of Tahlequah, Elwanda Kelso of Ada, and Butch and Anita Sutton of Ada; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Sutton; an aunt, Evelyn King; uncles, Windle King, Warren Kelso and Gary McDonald; his grandfather, Alfred Sutton; and his grandmother, Edith Sutton.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Eric Sutton Memorial Fund in care of Citizens Bank, 123 W. 12th, Ada, OK 74820.
