Lloyd Ray Myers

Ada — Services for Lloyd Ray Myers, 80, of Ada, are at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. 

The Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. 

The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Myers died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at a Norman Veterans Center.

He was born Sept. 23, 1933, in the Egypt community west of Ada to Charles Heber and Annie Ethel Lawson Myers. He attended Egypt and Latta schools.

Mr. Myers was a truck driver for Evergreen Mills Feed in Ada until his retirement. 

He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include three brothers, Vernon Myers and his wife, Shirley, of Ada, Stanley Myers and his wife, JoAnn, of Ada, and Gene Myers and his wife, Pat, of Yukon; one sister, Velma Lee Wood of Albuquerque, N.M.; and an aunt, Wanda Martin, Ada.
