HENRYETTA — A Henryetta teen was shot to death last Friday and agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation are asking for the public’s help.
OSBI Public Information Officer Jessica Brown said 13-year-old Landon Jewel was shot Friday evening at the home of a friend at 1012 West Cummings. Agents are running leads to determine what led to the discharging of the weapon.
“The medical examiner’s office ruled the child’s death a homicide,” Brown said. “The definition of homicide is the killing of one person by another. Rampant rumors are impairing the investigation; therefore, OSBI asks that anyone with valid, verifiable information regarding this case to please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.”
