An Ada woman was injured when her vehicle collided with another vehicle Wednesday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Keith Teel said the crash occurred at the intersection of State Highway 19 and County Road 3460 just before 10 a.m.
Fern Martin, 69, Ada, was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry west on SH 19 when she attempted to make a left turn onto CR 3460. Teel said she failed to yield the right of way, went left of center and was hit head-on by a 1998 Dodge Intrepid driven by Kacey Raiter, 21, Stratford.
Martin was removed from her vehicle by firefighters and EMS and placed on a backboard. She was taken to Valley View Regional Hospital and admitted in serious condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Raiter and a passenger, Chelsey Asbury, 19, Elizabeth, Colo., refused treatment for minor injuries.
