WEWOKA — Historic Wewoka will host the 6th annual Cedar Street Blues and Jazz Festival Saturday, June 24, from 6 p.m. until midnight. The streets will come alive with the sounds of House, Doc Blues Revue, Sweet Brenda and the Sourmash and headliner, Tutu Jones.

Come early and explore Wewoka’s newly renovated downtown area featuring quaint shops, plenty of culture, and the historic Wewoka Switch Depot. Strolling down the sidewalks among antique street lights and old-fashion buildings will truly transport visitors back in time.

Old and young alike will be thrilled with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. In addition, food vendors will be available, featuring a wide variety of great food and treats for the entire family.

Nestled in the heart of Seminole County, Wewoka is located 16 miles south of Interstate 40 on Hwy. 56. Advance tickets are $8 and can be purchased by contacting the Wewoka Chamber of Commerce at (405) 257-5485. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate for $10. Children’s tickets are available for $5.
