NEW YORK — Trevor Carroll Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts of The New School University in New York City on May 18. Williams, a Texas native, completed his high school career in Malaga, Spain.

A recognition ceremony for graduates was held at the first Presbyterian Church in New York and degrees were conferred at Madison Square Garden. Ceremonies were attended by parents, Tony and Christa Williams, Lubbock, Texas; and grandparents Dr. Gary and Patricia Lawley, Anchorage, Alaska. Williams is the great-grandson of Sadie Mae Standridge Thompson and the late Clifton Thompson, longtime residents of Pontotoc County, Okla.

William’s major emphasis is writing and his culminating work is a historical fiction novel. Williams will maintain his residency in Brooklyn, NY.
