Two Ada residents were injured in a collision Monday just outside of city limits.

The wreck occurred at 11:54 p.m. on Old U.S. 377, one mile north of Ada.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Alan Fortner said 31-year-old Sean W. Moore of Ada was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala south when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by 26-year-old Reba J. Sliger of Ada.

Sliger and Moore were taken by Air Evac Lifeteam to OU Medical Center.

Sliger was admitted in serious condition with internal injuries.

Moore, too, was admitted in serious condition with internal injuries.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for OU Medical Center said Sliger and Moore were upgraded to good condition.

Fortner believes Moore was driving under the influence of alcohol, and he listed the cause of the collision as driving under the influence. He said seat belts were in use.
