ADA — Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, owned and operated by Concord Neighborhood Corporation, 1200 N. Mississippi, will be working with the Foster Care Department of Pontotoc County in launching its Trees of Hope campaign during the 2006 holiday season. Concord Applebee’s Trees of Hope campaign has been developed to assist local organizations in collecting toys and necessities for children and families in need.

Individuals visiting the local Applebee’s restaurant will be able to choose a name from the Tree of Hope, located inside the restaurant. The patron will then purchase the gift that the child requested, and return it to the Applebee’s restaurant for distribution to the organization.

“Our goal is to reach as many children and families as possible during the holiday season,” said Stacie Hooks, Human Resources manager for the Concord Applebee’s. “We encourage others to help us in assisting our local neighbors and friends in need.”

The Trees of Hope campaign began Nov. 20. All gifts must be returned to Applebee’s restaurant for distribution by Friday, Dec. 15.
