Breast cancer affects one out of every eight women.  Roff Tigers and Stonewall Longhorns recently worked together to find a cure for breast cancer.

Roff Tigers “Laced  up for the Cure” and Stonewall Longhorns wore “Think Pink” shirts.

Both schools had pink-out days and then wore their pink attire to the basketball game on Jan. 14.

The Tigers passed out high-top tennis shoes to every classroom and asked that they be filled with money. The Longhorns conducted a silent auction at the ballgame.

The night of the game cheerleaders from both schools passed pink Kentucky Fried Chicken buckets through the crowds encouraging them to donate to the cause. Total amount raised so far is $4,300 with more money still coming into the school.
